Clients electing this service have real-time, secure access to benefits eligibility data with the capacity to fully utilize electronic feeds to and from HRIS and carrier systems. Users can be assigned various security levels depending on specific needs in an organization, be allowed to add and approve new hires, enter terminations, make status changes and fulfill other benefit election requirements as needed. Updated enrollment information is tracked and communicated to the appropriate carriers and vendors electronically, and used in the monthly invoice reconciliation for the most up-to-date billing processing.
The coordination of these services through Jenkins assures the consistency and timeliness of carrier premium payments, COBRA processing, and eligibility status updates. Upon notice of a qualifying event, COBRA notifications are mailed to the eligible person(s). The notification and subsequent follow-up information is in accordance with the most current DOL regulations and requirements; thereby providing a basis for the proper handling of your COBRA program.
When an election to continue benefits is received, the eligible participant will be provided with payment coupons and instructions for the ongoing collection and remittance of premiums. COBRA participants have access to the Help Desk for support allowing them access to benefit professionals for assistance with their COBRA inquiries.
